Working on MLDT challenge

I often admire others layouts so I decided that I would try to make one for the MLDT going green challenge. We were to not purchase anything but use up stuff we already had, recycle and or use recycled papers. I had all of the materials for this layout that I had purchased from the Anna Griffen line when Jo Ann's had a big sale, a long time ago... so this is what I came up with! I think the tear bears are coming along... just not exactly where I want them to be! Practice practice practice.... Did I mention that I am really a card artist! LOL!

Life's a beach! This cute little girl is picking up shells at the beach! She was heat embossed and watercolored. I used nesties for the painting cutouts!

Bear Gardening Buddies Card

This is another Penny Black Retired stamp that I just love. I heat embossed the image and then hand painted in watercolors. The colors are very vibrant!

Mother's Day! Friends

The stamp that I used for this card is a retired Penny Black rubber stamp. I heat embossed the image as well as the sentiment. The little bears were hand painted, with watercolors.
The inside sentiment is from Abe Lincoln. It says "All that I am and hope to be I owe to my mother" The front says My mother and the inside also says "My Friend" "Happy Mothers day"
This was a fun card to paint!

I mailed this card to CW3 Bradley Yeager. He is serving overseas and I just wanted to say thank you for protecting our freedoms!

Ducky Day Handmade Card by Denise MLDT

What fun on a rainy day! Galoshes and an umbrella.

This is a stamp called Happy Hanna from embossing arts. She is such a cute stamp!
I used Bazzill papers with wooden sunflowers.
