Christmas in July Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #64

Photobucket

This morning finds me in Chicago and attending the CHA convention. Yesterday was my copic certification class. It sure was fun!
For my design card this week, I just had to get a Christmas in July card in. I used this cute little stamp from our sponsor Sew Many Cards. I found these cute little light bulbs in my stash, as well as these cute Christmas papers from DSW. My card stock is Bazzill.

Photobucket

For the sketch this week, I have another design card for you. This image is by Michelle Perkett. I just love this image. What a wonderful sketch. (I am planning on giving it to a good friend of mine whose birthday is coming soon) I used Bazzill and DSW cardstocks. My flourishes are by Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut.

Why not pull out those supplies and share your artwork using this wonderful sketch!

Once again, it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Remember to click on the sneak peek button on the side bar for the following weeks sketch each Friday.

Pixie Cottage Sketch #28 and Double Up Challenge

For my Pixie Cottage Challenge card for this week I used Sweet Pea In Bloom by Alisa Ramirez. Isn't she the cutest? She does look like a Sweet Pea!
For this card, my image was stamped with Stazon ink. I used my copics for coloring and shading.
My punched ribbons were my MS. I seem to use those Hero Art and Prima flowers a lot as I can color them just about any color with my copics. I popped out my image several times too for added dimension. Bo Bunny and Bazzill were my choices for cardstocks.

It's time for another Once Upon A Wednesday and another sketch from our fabulous Special Guest Sketcher Jay Jay!

Along with the sketch we have the added option of "Double Up" where we'd like to see you use two stamps on the card (one can be a sentiment)
You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have a Pixie Image why not try it out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

Now this challenge will be running for 2 weeks instead of one as The Pixies need a little break and so it's vacation time, time to sit back with a Margarita or two and feel the sand between our toes.
So you have no excuse not to join in as you have two weeks to get your card completed and linked for us to see!

One randomly picked winner will get their choice of 2 Pixie Cottage Stamps and the Design Teams Top Three entries will get to display the winners badge on their blog.
Winners will be announced on the Friday following the end of the challenge.
I would really like to see what you come up with for this challenge. Pick up those stamps and get busy!

Thank you so much for leaving comments for me. They are very much appreciated and are inspirational!

I am linking this card to the following Challenges:

For my design card this week I chose to use Priscilla's beautifully butterfly digis'. I had this beautiful cardstock in my stash from DSW . I just love the coral colors and thought that it was just perfect! My butterflies were colored with copics and then glittered with dazzling diamonds. My butterfly punch is from MS and my ribbons were just from my stash. I colored my Hero Art flowers with my copics an attached them to my background of clouds.

Pixie Cottage Sketch #27 and Triple Play!

Welcome to this week's Pixie Cottage Challenge!
Today for my design card for this challenge I Used
Robins Nest by ArTish

I thought that this image was just perfect for this challenge. I love the fact that there were 3 eggs. I even used 3 pearls on each corner. I decided to color this image using watercolors. I have not done watercolors for some time. I really enjoyed painting this one to I will have to use watercolors more often! For my image I used my versamark ink pad and black embossing powder to stamp this lovely image onto watercolor paper. My card stock is by Basic Grey as well as bazzill. Flowers were colored with copics and are by prima. The lace was from my stash and had been given to me several years back. This image is just perfect for any occasion!

Along with the sketch we have the added option "Triple Play" which means we'd like to see something on your project 3 times! That means 3 flowers, 3 designer papers, 3 ribbons, 3 embossing folders, 3 buttons, anything as long as it's a trio!
You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have why not try out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

One randomly picked winner will get their choice of 2 Pixie Cottage Stamps and the Design Teams Top Three entries will get to display the winners badge on their blog.

*Sew Many Cards
Here is a little bit about our awesome sponsor this this month....
My name is Angela and I own Sew Many Cards. I have a husband, an almost 10year old daughter, a two year old son, & a dog/puppy: Hershey. The images of Sew Many Cards came from a dream that my husband had of a group of animals that were "SEWN Together" with patches & stitching, hence the name, which he also came up with. You will find that every image in the Sew Many Cards collection has patches and stitching, even the ones that are not animals. I love to draw & almost every image is either an inspiration from my family or a request from my great customers & design team. Please ask if you need something specific or would like to request something to be made.
You can find all her adorable images at http://shop.sewmanycards.com/
