The Pixie Cottage Challenge #38 Guest Sketch & Orange

For my design card for this week's Pixie Cottage challenge I used Pretty In Pink by Alisa Ramirez. After masking my pretty in pink logo on front of my stamp, she was colored and shaded with my copic markers. I used white trims as my accent pieces. My paper is by DCWV.

It's time for another challenge here at The Pixie Cottage and this week we have a sketch from a very Special Guest Sketch Artist and it's Aud Nordheim!

We have the additional theme of "Orange" so with the Fall Season upon us and Halloween coming soon you have no reason not to join in with us!

You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have why not try out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

One randomly picked winner will get their choice of 2 Pixie Cottage Stamps and the Design Teams Top Three entries will get to display the winners badge on their blog.

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #36 Fruit Mellowness

For my design card for the Pixie Cottage I am using 3 Fall Mice Digital Stamp by ArTish.

Photobucket

I just fell in love with these 3 adorable mice that are playing in the pumpkin patch. I used my copics for coloring and shading and distressed the edges with colorbox chestnut chalk. My cute little mice were cut out and then paper pieced on top of another background image. I didn't add pop dots on this one as I only wanted a slightly raised edge. My papers are my Graphic 45 and Bazzill.

This week we have fabulous sketch from team member Adrina and I'm sure you'll agree it's a great one!We have the additional theme of Mellow Fruitfulness to go with the upcoming Autumn Season.

Midnight Madness Sketch #71

For my Midnight Madness Sketch Card for this week, I used an adorable "Lorelie" stamp. I stamped my image twice, colored it with my copics and then used a little tulle for the skirt and head piece between my sandwiched images. Dimensionals were used to separate the layers.
My flowers were by Prima (they were also colored with my copics) I simply flipped the sketch and it worked wonderfully well!

This weeks sketch...it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Remember to click on the sneak peek button on the side bar for the following weeks sketch each Friday.

Creative Card Crew Challenge Fall Theme!

Creative Card Crew Challenge Fall Halloween

This is my design card for Creative Card Crew! I had the privilege of using this adorable candy corn pumpkin stamp from Sassy Cheryl! I think that it is soooooo cute!!!!
As I was designing my card, I just had to keep adding sparkle, with my stickles.
This card is a little over the top in the sparkle category but in person it really shines and is one of the favorites of my clients at work! I just received my decorative oval spellbinders (winner of Darlene's Birthday Blog Candy) and thought that it was simply the perfect image to use them with. My pumpkins were colored and shaded with my copics, then they were distressed with chocolate chalks. My pumpkin border came in a package from Bazzill and I added lots of stickles. Last year a friend of mine gave me the Happy Halloween tag from cuttlebug. I thought that it was perfect with my image!

For this week's challenge. Our sponsor this week is the lovely, Sassy Cheryl! She gave us some wonderful images to work with. Our theme for this challenge is fall (can be Halloween, Fall, or Thanksgiving) Why don't you get out your supplies and join us! Make sure that you check out all of the DT's FABULOUS work!

This post will stay close to the top of my blog. Please scroll down for new posts!
I was hopeful that my order of the new CRAFT N DOODLE circle cutters would be in and I could have had them in the picture of my blog candies, but they aren't even going to be shipped until next week! :( It seems as though I wasn't the only one at CHA who loved the CRAFT N DOODLE Booth! I was so impressed at CHA with this new wonderful company. So much so that I bought the entire set that you see on the left of my blog for myself. It is certainly going to be a tool system that I will replace all of those others with!
