The Pixie Cottage Challenge #38 Guest Sketch & Orange

For my design card for this week's Pixie Cottage challenge I used Pretty In Pink by Alisa Ramirez. After masking my pretty in pink logo on front of my stamp, she was colored and shaded with my copic markers. I used white trims as my accent pieces. My paper is by DCWV.

It's time for another challenge here at The Pixie Cottage and this week we have a sketch from a very Special Guest Sketch Artist and it's Aud Nordheim!

We have the additional theme of "Orange" so with the Fall Season upon us and Halloween coming soon you have no reason not to join in with us!

You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have why not try out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

One randomly picked winner will get their choice of 2 Pixie Cottage Stamps and the Design Teams Top Three entries will get to display the winners badge on their blog.
Winners will be announced on the Friday following the end of the challenge.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Stampin For The Weekend - Tag It
Wee Memories - Tags
Corrosive - Masking (I masked the image so I could remove the pretty in pink logo)
One Stitch at a Time - Anything Goes
Incy Wincy - Anything Goes
Make It Crafty - Anything Goes

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment for me. It is so appreciated!

I just love Christmas and all of the beautiful flowers that Christmas time has. One of my favorites is the poinsettia. For my design card for the Creative Card Crew this week this poinsettia was just perfect for our challenge of something Bloomin Marvelous!
My papers were by MindsEye, from their Christmas line. With my copic markers, I colored my poinsettia stamp 3 times and layered them together. Crystal lacquer was added on top of all of the layers. Dark red rhinestones were added to the center. Ribbons were colored with myh copics for a matching color. Why not get out that favorite floral stamp and join us for the challenge. This challenge will be for 2 weeks and I would simply love to see what you come up with!

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #36 Fruit Mellowness

For my design card for the Pixie Cottage I am using 3 Fall Mice Digital Stamp by ArTish.

Photobucket

I just fell in love with these 3 adorable mice that are playing in the pumpkin patch. I used my copics for coloring and shading and distressed the edges with colorbox chestnut chalk. My cute little mice were cut out and then paper pieced on top of another background image. I didn't add pop dots on this one as I only wanted a slightly raised edge. My papers are my Graphic 45 and Bazzill.

This week we have fabulous sketch from team member Adrina and I'm sure you'll agree it's a great one!We have the additional theme of Mellow Fruitfulness to go with the upcoming Autumn Season.

Midnight Madness Sketch #71

For my Midnight Madness Sketch Card for this week, I used an adorable "Lorelie" stamp. I stamped my image twice, colored it with my copics and then used a little tulle for the skirt and head piece between my sandwiched images. Dimensionals were used to separate the layers.
My flowers were by Prima (they were also colored with my copics) I simply flipped the sketch and it worked wonderfully well!

Creative Card Crew Challenge Fall Theme!

Creative Card Crew Challenge Fall Halloween

This is my design card for Creative Card Crew! I had the privilege of using this adorable candy corn pumpkin stamp from Sassy Cheryl! I think that it is soooooo cute!!!!
As I was designing my card, I just had to keep adding sparkle, with my stickles.
This card is a little over the top in the sparkle category but in person it really shines and is one of the favorites of my clients at work! I just received my decorative oval spellbinders (winner of Darlene's Birthday Blog Candy) and thought that it was simply the perfect image to use them with. My pumpkins were colored and shaded with my copics, then they were distressed with chocolate chalks. My pumpkin border came in a package from Bazzill and I added lots of stickles. Last year a friend of mine gave me the Happy Halloween tag from cuttlebug. I thought that it was perfect with my image!

For this week's challenge. Our sponsor this week is the lovely, Sassy Cheryl! She gave us some wonderful images to work with. Our theme for this challenge is fall (can be Halloween, Fall, or Thanksgiving) Why don't you get out your supplies and join us! Make sure that you check out all of the DT's FABULOUS work!
