The Pixie Cottage Challenge #41 Something Sweet!

Playful Penguins (back in stock soon)

For my Pixie Cottage Design Project I used Eileen's cute little stamp called Playful Penguins (back in stock soon).  I had this container left over from some wonderful flowers and thought that it was just perfect for a candy/ treat jar to giveaway.  I used my MS candy punch and punched out my green Minds Eye Papers.  I then punched out the red and white BoBunny paper and glued each of the candies ontop of the green ones.  My ribbon and lace were from my stash.  My gift tag opens for a personal message.  My playful penguins were colored with copics and then stickles were added for bling.

It's time for another Once Upon A Wednesday and we have a lovely sketch for you from Pam.

Our optional challenge this week is to include "Something Sweet" on your project. This could be a sweet image, a sweet sentiment, a sweet container! LOL Anything as long as it is "sweet".
Remember you can play with the sketch, the theme or both!
The randomly picked winner will win two stamps of their choice from the Pixie Cottage Collection. The winner and the Top 3 favorites will be announced on the Friday after the challenge ends.

Midnight Madness Sketch #76

For my Midnight Madness Design card for this week, I used our sponsors (DRS) poinsettia stamp as the centerpiece.  For my birthday this week one of the gifts that I received was a new set of prisma pencils, so I decided to try them out on this beautiful Christmas flower stamp.  Crystal lacquer was used as a finishing touch after handcutting and layering the flower petals.  My cardstocks are by bazzill and My Mindseye Christmas stack.  Poinsettia flower was by Prima.  My gorgeous ribbon is by Paper Temptress.

Midnight Madness Sketch #75

This is one of my 2 design cards for this week.  This is using Priscilla's newest digital stamp.  I colored and shaded the Jumpin Jacks using my copics.  Then cut them out and layered with dimensionals and then added some crystal effects for shine.  I just thought that they were soooooo cute.

Photobucket

For my second design card I used a stamp called Santa Collage.  I am going through a period right now of finding and using beautiful lace.  This lace was given to me and I thought that it would go well with this sketch.
I colored my Santa with my copic markers.  My snowflake metal brads were colored and glittered. I used diamond dust (stampin up) for the glitter.  I also decided at the last moment to add a poinsettia flower at the top.  I often re-look at cards to see how I can add a finishing touch especially when I think that something is missing!

Creative Card Crew Challenge Fairy Tales!

The theme for the new challenge over at the Creative Card Crew  is fairytales.  Digital Delights is our sponsor for this challenge.  LubyLoo created these wonderful digital stamps.  They were just perfect for this challenge.  I simply love the princess that has been rescued by the Knight and they do live happily ever after!
Isn't it wonderful that it always ends like that in the fairytales!
My cute images were colored and shaded with copic markers.  Then they were cut out and layered with dimensionals.  My papers are Mindseye Laundry Line.  Trims were from Jo Ann's.  My metal hardware is from stampin up!  Why not go over to Digital Delights for these cute inexpensive images (or use your favorite fairy tale stamps) and join in on the fun.  This challenge will go on for 2 weeks and Digital Delights is offering a wonderful prize.  I hope to see all of your wonderful work over at the Creative Card Crew soon!
