Tutorial Tea Bag Candy Holder Box Using Flower Set Digital Delights!

Today I am hosting Tutorial Monday over at Digital Delights  To make my cute little box just follow these easy directions!  I used Graphic 45 Oriental Cardstock.  It took about a half a sheet of 12x12 cardstock.  I put tea bags in mine, but candy also makes a nice treat and Giradelli Chocolates fit in perfectly!  I colored and shaded my flower image with Tim Heltz Distressed Markers.  Super Easy and loads of fun!

Supplies Needed:
one 31/2" x 7 3/4"  piece of cardstock
one 6 1/2" x 7" piece of cardstock (coordinating)
Martha Stewart or any  other scoring tool
Strong adhesive tape or glue (I use fabric tac by Beacon)
25 " piece of ribbon
1 1/4 circle or tag punch
Stamps (I used Flower Set by Digital Delights)
Additional cardstock and embellishements to decorate the front.

Step by Step

Step one:
Place 3 1/2 x 7 3/4" piece of cardstock in your scorer.
Score at 3 1/2"

Step two:
Score at 4 1/4

Step  three:
Prefold both score lines.

Step four:
Line the 6 1/2" side of the  coordinating cardstock piece up with the top of the scorer
Score at 1/2"

Step five:
Score same coordinating cardstock  at 3 1/2"

Step six:
Prefold your score lines.  Apply fabric tac (glue) or strong tape to inside of 1/2" strip

Step seven:
Fold over top flap (with glue) and adhere to folded edge
 Step eight:
Score sleeve at 3 5/8"

Step nine:
Turn sleeve 180 degrees, score again at 3 5/8"

Step ten:
Prefold fold lines

Step eleven:
Slide your cardstock partially into the 1 1/4" punch.  Center and punch
This will make it easier to take the tea\bag or candy out of the holder later.
Punch both ends of cardstock sleeve

Step twelve:
Glue edge of cardstock sleeve

Step thirteen:
Glue edge down to outside coordinating piece(piece that was finished first and set aside)
Insert tea bags or Giradelli chocolates

Step fourteen:
Glue down ribbon on edge of cover

Step fifteen:
Decorate the front as desired and tie ribbon
