Blog Candy Coming Soooooon!!! Craft & Hobby Show Summer Show!

Creative Card Crew 1,2 &3 Challenge and Robyn's Fetish Sponsor

For my Creative Card Crew card, I used 1 sentiment, 2 flowers, and 3 clusters of greenery.  My image is one of the wonderful digitals with Robyn's Fetish.  After printing out my flower on watercolor paper, I watercolored it using my ink intense colored pencils.  I wanted some more depth to the flower without adding another layer so I added crystal lacquer.  My sentiment is from SU, and greenery in layers of 3 were punched out with one of my  MS punches.  Cardstock is by Graphic 45.

Creative Card Crew SONG INSPIRED

For my Challenge card for this fornight I used Graphic 45's beautiful cardstock that I companioned with a very pretty blue metallic cardstock that a friend of mine gave me.  This is a very simple and basic CAS card.  So easy to do yet simply beautifully vintage with those pretty roses. Graphic 45 cardstock is available at Simon Says Stamp!  For the challenge I went with the song "THE WAY WE WERE".  These were fashions from my mom's and grandma's era.  I remember going to church with them and ladies ALWAYS wore their hats!

Ian Graduation

I thought that I would share with everyone why I haven't been online quite as much lately
Whew!!!! Graduation is over!  Between all of the final details and parties I have been exhausted!  I am so glad that everything went well and Ian is officially a college student now!
This is one of my favorite pics of my  son Ian and his 3 cousins.  They all grew up together and for the next 5 years we will have a graduation every year. (there are 2 other cousins in the group that aren't in this picture) Ian is going on to college in the fall and is planning on a career in Criminal Justice.
