Shawnefrom our very own DT, has her own stamp line and has very generously offered up a $25 Gift Voucher to the store that features her line. Here is a little bit about Shawne in her own words…..

" I wish there were something exceptional for me to say but I'm afraid I'm really extraordinarily ordinary. I wish I could claim to have a degree in the arts or graphic design but I don't. I've just always loved to draw and paint. I think I'm like most of you out there. A crafter at heart. I used to call myself a SAHM but the term seemed like an unfair assessment of my life, since most of us work around the clock and so I began calling myself a WAHM. So I am a wife and WAHM of four beautiful daughters, I love my life but wanted something of my own. Cardmaking became a creative outlet for me and a way to get back in touch with myself. A few years later fate led me to Clear Dollar Stamps and I became an Illustrator for them. It was a dream come true. The kind of job I pretended to have as a child! I'm inspired by my surrounding and things that I love which I guess is pretty typical of an artist. I happen to be surrounded by little girl's so most of my work is child like and girly. Growing up some of my favorite times were spent at the beach or on my family's farm. I get a lot of inspiration for my drawings from there too! "

Today, many of our MMSC25 Design Team cards were made with *Shawne’s images. To see all of the wonderful designer projects go to The Home of the Midnight Madness Sketches! You can check out Shawne's complete line HERE. Our MMSC25 Weekly Bonus Winner will win $25 Gift Voucher redeemable at Clear Dollar Stamps donated by Shawne...Thank you Shawne.

For the sketch challenge, I altered a journal. I decided to also make a coordinating card for this fun journal. This beautiful pink glittery paper is from the Disney line and thought that it was perfect for Shawne's images of Princess Rosebud and her rose carriage!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts about my projects!

MMSC 24

This is my design card for the MMSC 24 sketch. I used this cute little pixie fairy image from Dottie's World. Her name is Lily and she is just such a pretty digi image. I used watercolors as well as copic markers and stickles for her coloring.

Make sure that you check out all of the Midnight Madness Design Cards at Priscilla's blog: Home of the Midnight Madness Challenge There is also lots of information about prizes and winners there! Don't forget to link your #24 sketch challenge card to Mr Linky!

Pixie Cottage Challenge
This is my card that I completed for the Pixie Cottage Challenge. My friend Eileen designed this stamp so I just had to make another card with it. I think it is just too cute! As you can tell I just flipped it on the side to accommodate the rectangle shape!

Here is the link to the Pixie Challenge

Isn't this little frog soooo cute! This is a stamp that my friend Elaine created! Elaine is a very talented scrapbook layout designer and is just now having her images made into rubber stamps for us to enjoy! This is one of her lovely stamps that is now available at Pixie Cottage! She also has several Christmas stamps coming out soon!!! I can hardly wait! I made this card for my best friend Lesia, who is just getting into stamping!

Meet the Midnight Madness Design Team

We thought it would be fun to feature in this section of our blog hop something to help you get to know the design team members and for us to get to know you. We have all chosen some questions with answers we wanted to share with you, our valued challenge players and new visitors, about ourselves. You are welcomed to leave a comment here at my blog and tell us something about you. So here are some interesting things about me!

I absolutely cannot craft without my cutter bee scissors. I love the sharp points on these great little scissors and as I do a lot of layering on my images, these scissors are invaluable to me. If my house was on fire, I would definitely rescue my tool carrier, I have so many wonderful tools that are within arms reach, and all organized in my carrier complete with a Lazy Susan. As I work full time outside the home, my favorite time to create my cards and paper piecings is after 9:00 and when everyone else has gone to bed. I am often up until 12:00 midnight or even 1 a.m.! I love my diet mountain dew and often have it with me in my craft studio for those late nights! When I go to yard or garage sales, I love to find rubber stamps, storage containers, and craft papers to add to my collection! Lastly, my hero would be President Ronald Reagan. Although he was one of the best Presidents of all time, the reason that he is my "hero" is because of the way he treated his wife Nancy throughout their marriage. This is a man who had a love affair with his wife, his whole life!

Cards from the Crypt

For something a little fun to honor our Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge Players we thought we would go back into the Crypt of archived challenges and pick some of our favorites to feature here. Our winners will need to do the blog hop and collect a word from each of the blogs to collect the winning phrase and place their name in Mr. Linky at Priscilla's Midnight Madness Blog! We will email you when we verify that you have entered your name in Mr. Linky, you will need to email back the phrase in order to qualify for your prize. Even if your card has been chosen from the Crypt you are still eligible for the Grand Prize and Random Drawings.

My pick from the Crypt of Archived Challenges is from challenge #16, card #52. This beauty was made by CABIO! She has faithfully made cards for our Midnight Madness Challenges! I just loved her coloring of her image and her handmade flower! Our winners will need to do the blog hop and collect a word from each of the blogs to collect the winning phrase and place their name in Mr. Linky at Priscilla's Midnight Madness Blog! We will email you when we have verified that you have entered you name in Mr. Linky, you will need to email back the phrase in order to qualify for your prize. Even if you card has been chosen from the crypt, you are still eligible for the Grand Prize and Random Drawings .

My Project

For a little treat I have featured one of my favorite projects. It is simple and cute little project, but it can be used as a table favor or just as a way to give something special, for a thank you or just a thinking of you gift. Just change out a few stamps and you have a wonderful gift for any season. A tutorial for this will be available soon!

My Word for the Secret Phrase

and your next word can be found at Chris-Twinkles Glow with Stamps blog. thank you for playing in our weekly challenges and for all you support each week. We love showing off our creations to you and visiting your blogs each week to see what you have created. We hope you are enjoying this special Blog Hop and that you are finding something new along the way. Thanks for joining us today!

MMSC22

Photobucket

Here is my MMSC22 Design Card. Gurlee Girl is our sponsor this month. I really like all of Gurlee Girl stamps. This week I chose Ribbon Girl to use in a Christmas Card.
I just love glitter and bling. This cute little girl is perhaps opening one of her Christmas Presents.
