Christmas in July Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #64

Photobucket

This morning finds me in Chicago and attending the CHA convention. Yesterday was my copic certification class. It sure was fun!
For my design card this week, I just had to get a Christmas in July card in. I used this cute little stamp from our sponsor Sew Many Cards. I found these cute little light bulbs in my stash, as well as these cute Christmas papers from DSW. My card stock is Bazzill.

For the sketch this week, I have another design card for you. This image is by Michelle Perkett. I just love this image. What a wonderful sketch. (I am planning on giving it to a good friend of mine whose birthday is coming soon) I used Bazzill and DSW cardstocks. My flourishes are by Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut.

Why not pull out those supplies and share your artwork using this wonderful sketch!

Once again, it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Remember to click on the sneak peek button on the side bar for the following weeks sketch each Friday.

"YOUR CHOICE"

Enter one style or both this week.

Just have fun and come play with us :)

  1. Hi Denise: Is there a competition going on here I don't know about. Inquiring minds want to know what is up with you girls making two cards a challenge..huh!!!lol I feel so inadequate! First Linda, then Gunn, now you! I accused Gunn last week of vying for the favorite position and she set me straight.lol Let me in on the secret.

Both your cards are just adorable. The Christmas puppy is simply delightful with his little swirl accents and bright colors. The Michelle Perkett image is the other side of the spectrum with soft pastel colors. Both are beautiful!

Glad to here you got your copic certification. Have fun at CHA. Wish I was there with you.

  4. Denise, not one but two fantastic cards for this week's sketch! Your Christmas card is way, way ADORABLE and beautifully detailed. I also love the 2nd card you made with one little problem - I have this same digi I'm using for next week's sketch and I wasn't pleased with the way mine turned out, so yours makes mine look bad!! How could you do this to me? Is it a plot to be the fave??? Honestly, you did a fantastic job on both cards and I'll forgive you for making me look bad next week!! LOL!

    Hugs
